They sell thousands of City Passes to visitors looking to experience unique and memorable experiences in Scotland – they also run a top-rated visitor experience. Play a key role in their growth and get hands-on experience in marketing and product development.
Your Manager
The founder has worked in the Scottish tourism industry in a marketing capacity for close to 15 years. This is an entrepreneurial business responsible for operating tourist passes in 4 cities. We are small but incredibly passionate team with a focus on tourism product development and marketing.
Our story is one of growth, challenges and huge opportunities. Our founder Geoff saw a gap in the market to create digital City Passes which not only provide access to multiple attractions, but also showcase unique and memorable experiences whilst providing local knowledge and additional savings for visitors. Our aim is to provide a truly genuine holiday experiences in a meaningful and memorable way.
This is a very exciting and challenging time in our journey as we look to accelerate growth whist enhancing our offering to leapfrog the competition whilst consistently delivering truly memorable experiences.
Tasks
You will work directly alongside the business founder and will be responsible for implementing key initiatives for the company and will play a key role in the strategic process as we develop, promote and grow the business. This will range from creating online content to project management and campaign delivery.
We are looking for someone with the right attitude and mind set to thrive in a varied and hands-on environment. We will give you the experience and guidance in exchange for your passion and enthusiasm. You need to be a do-er and a creative problem solver willing to take the initiative and put yourself in the customers shoes.
This internship runs from July-September and we would be looking for 15-20 hours a week based around your schedule.
Skills required
You must have a passion for entrepreneurship, marketing and customer focused content. We select students based on your potential. You will play a key role in the business and the opportunity for growth is huge. We believe a great workplace is one that represents the world we live in and how amazingly diverse it can be.
